Sat. Feb. 22 (10 am - 2 pm) Are you new to sewing? Do you have a machine but don't know how to sew? This is the perfect class for you to learn sewing techniques. Jill will take you through the basics of seam allowances, types of thread, types of needles, choosing fabric, pattern terminology, tools of sewing, etc. You will also make a first project to take home.

3rd Thursday of each month (10:30 am - 3 pm) Jan 16, Feb 20, Mar 19, and April 16. We will be doing surprise projects each month! Quick & easy will be the name of the game this session!

Tues. March 24 at 10:30 am - 1:30 pm. Claudia's Coasters in the Hoop. Come and learn how to make these coasters completely in-the-hoop. Tips and tricks for making multiples in the same hoop. Embroidery design and fabric purchase is required. Multiple themes to choose from, including: Easter, Patriotic, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthday, Woodland and a Sewing Theme.

Wed. Feb. 26 (10 am - 12:30 pm) This pattern includes five great in-the-hoop zipper pouches (plus a bonus pouch) with embroidered decorations for your rotary cutters, scissors, threads, pens, scissors, and other notions. These are great for classes or for just organizing your notions. This pattern comes with a CD containing applique designs for embroidery machines. Designs are provided in the following file formats: ART, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VP3, XXX. Embroidery designs in this pattern require a 6.2" x 10.5" stitching field. For BERNINA users this would be the MAXI Hoop. Angela will also demonstrate Group/Ungroup and Re-sequence embroidery features found on several BERNINA embroidery machines. These features allow the user to customize their project with their name, monogram or other embroidery designs.

For BERNINA Embroidery Machine models: 880 PLUS, 790 PLUS, 770 QEE, 700, 590, 570 QEE, 535, and 500. In this course you will learn to master your BERNINA Embroidery machine. You will learn everything you need to successfully embroider with your machine, including setting up your machine for embroidery, customizing your machine's settings, navigating your embroidery screens, adding lettering, editing your designs, placing designs, changing thread colors and more. We will work step by step through hands-on activities from the My BERNINA Embroidery Mastery Workbook.

Machines covered in this class include: BERNINA 880 Plus, 790 Plus, 770 QE, 740, and BERNINA 590, 570 QE, 535, 480, 475 QE, and 435. In this course you will learn to master your BERNINA Sewing machine. Learn to care for your machine, and how to use specialty functions to customize your machine's settings to your needs. We will work step by step through hands-on activities from the My BERNINA Sewing Mastery Workbook.

Sat. Mar. 7 (10 am - 2 pm) Have you always wanted to know how to cut perfect half rectangle triangles? Jill will show you how to put together the Backyard Breeze quilt by Clark Street Quilts using Bloc Loc Half Rectangle Triangle (HRT) Rulers. You will learn just how easy "breezy" using the Bloc Loc (HRT) Ruler really is. You will also fall in love with this technique and your new quilt.

Fri. Mar. 13 (12:30 pm - 4:30 pm) Want to know how to use your BERNINA Stitch Regulator and your Ruler Work Foot #72? This class will get you over your jitters. Doodling on paper, then fabric; starting and stopping and selecting which designs for what areas of your quilt. There will be lots of time in class to practice and to see Angie's trunk show of "do's" and "don'ts" quilts.

Tues. Mar. 3 (1 - 3 pm) The pineapple block has been on my bucket list for a long time. Finally, I found a ruler with instructions that makes sense to me. Easy, peasy. Let's construct a pineapple block (or 2 or 3) together.

Thurs. Mar 5 (10:30 am - 3 pm) Spring is Coming! Time to make something cheery. This table runner is perfect. All pieces can be cut using the AccuQuilt GO! dies and cutting machine. The applique may be stitched on the sewing machine (using a straight stitch, satin stitch or blanket stitch). For those with an embroidery machine, you may want to applique the design using the "free" machine embroidery file from AccuQuilt. NOTE: You do not have to own an AccuQuilt Machine or Dies to take this class.

Thurs. Feb. 27 (10:30 am - 2 pm) We all have a bag full of t-shirts, saved for years. Now it is time to turn that pile of shirts into a memory quilt. Angie will give you tips on cutting shirts, applying fusible stabilizer, sewing on knits and combining all those different colors. Pattern and supplies are extra.

Tues. Mar. 24 (10:30 am - 1 pm) Have you ever wanted to be a zookeeper? You'll love working with the Zootropolis book! Come join Linda and Jill as they teach you two different applique techniques. You can make a quilt, a wall-hanging, or a pillow. Your kit for this class will include fabric needed for several different animals of your choice. The background fabric you choose will be additional. The class will be from 10:30-1:00 but you are welcome to stay for a sit-n-sew afterward. Linda and Jill will both be available to assist you. Come join our zoo of fun!

Friday's (10 am - 3 pm) Bring a project, your supplies, and your sewing machine. If you need a little help with your project, a place to spread out or just some free advice, our staff will be on hand to help. You may also want to bring a snack or lunch.
